American archaeologist Michael Smith has spent numerous years working primarily with Aztec and general Mesoamerican archaeology. He has written numerous scholarly articles about central Mexican archaeology as well as several books about the Aztecs, among them a widely used textbook. He will be coming to speak to our Middle School Social Studies Class as they learn of the Civilizations of the Americas.
